It is the composition of presence and
absence in every moment, when we look
at the photographs of Lisa Wassmann.
One of the main motif is the movement within
the portrait, recording the motion, those rapid
short moments, which are passing by during one
blink of an eye.
Usually her work is staged spontaneously other
ideas are planned in advance.
The hidden humour that particulary arises from
her pictures doesn´t come from how the image is
built up it is more from the surprising
confrontation between the observer and the
opponent.
Lisa lets us be a part of her life, her personality is always present like another layer above her photographs.
She shows us her view on the world, takes us with
her on her voyages thru her life.
